The Ultralite X (ULX) is a speed-focused mini-wing evolution of the innovative Ultralite 5 glider. Featuring smaller sizes and R3X-style trimmers, this glider is optimized for intermediate-to-advanced level speed pilots looking for glide, speed, roll response and stability.

The Speed-specific riser design allows for accurate rear-riser piloting, unparalleled by other mini-wing designs - many of which rely on speed-bar rather than on trimmers.

The new 11m size combines the best of Speed-wing agility with Mini-wing glide performance. It is one of the smallest, most dynamic, responsive, and stable mini-wings available on the market.

THE PILOT

The ULX offers an exciting combination of lightness and performance, making it the perfect choice for high-performance soaring and hike-and-fly adventures. Pilots intending to fly the smaller sizes must be experienced speed flyers and all sizes require skills in using the risers for pitch and roll control to maximize the glider’s performance and potential.

THE TECH

Ozone’s pioneering SharkNose technology is at the core of this next generation design, allowing for short take-offs in technical terrain, and overhead stability at increased speeds.

Dominico N10D canopy fabric makes this a featherweight addition to your pack, while a pulley-riser system and enhanced weight-shift characteristics grant ultimate piloting precision.

THE LITE LEGACY

Over the past 20 years of lightweight glider development at Ozone, our ultra-light wings have launched from the summit of Everest, competed in every edition of the X-Alps, and broken vol-biv distance records around the world. The ULX incorporates this history into a compact, high-performance mini-wing that merges Ozone’s “Speed” category with our highest performing broad scale glider technology.

New Features

For the first time on a 3-line EN B, the Vibe GT features a fully developed rear-riser steering system delivering 2-liner-style Angle of Attack (AoA) control.

This system allows accurate pitch control on bar without profile distortion, improving efficiency across the speed range and giving pilots refined pitch authority when accelerated. It offers a direct pathway toward 2-line techniques while retaining the comfort and security of a 3-line platform.

The Pilot

The Vibe GT is the natural progression for pilots stepping up from EN A or low EN B wings. It is designed for those seeking higher efficiency, sharper handling, and modern control systems without stepping into the demands of higher categories. In other words, for pilots who want to fly high and relaxed!

The Tech

With an aspect ratio of 5.45 and 55 cells, the Vibe GT is centered in the Ozone EN B range of wings, ideal for pilots ready to step beyond entry-level performance.

Every element of the Vibe GT has been optimized for efficiency and cohesion. A low drag line plan, double 3D shaping, an advanced internal structure, and an exceptionally clean leading edge all combine for high aerodynamic efficiency.

Mini-ribs refine the trailing edge for reduced drag and sharper brake response. A higher arc, combined with winglets, increases sail tension and turn authority while improving side-collapse behavior and ensuring predictable spiral characteristics — a critical quality in the mid-B class. The result is a wing that feels compact, direct, and coordinated in active air.

In Flight

Efficient, playful, and composed, the Vibe GT handling is beautifully coordinated. Turn initiation is clean and progressive, with excellent roll authority and balanced yaw response.

It cores efficiently, holds bank angles naturally, and transitions smoothly between thermals and glides. Reduced sail inertia — thanks to the GT semi-light construction — increases responsiveness and amplifies the sense of connection to the air.

Glide efficiency is strong throughout the speed range, and the rear-steering system enhances control and efficiency when accelerated. Drag reduction through refined line architecture, winglet integration, and clean trailing edge construction translates directly into measurable gains in glide and usable speed.

Despite its performance focus, the Vibe GT maintains reassuring pitch stability and predictable collapse behavior. The moderate aspect ratio and cohesive internal structure preserve accessibility while allowing pilots to push further with confidence. Spiral behavior remains balanced and controlled — exactly as it should in a mid-level EN B.

The GT Range

Part of the GT range, the Vibe GT combines reduced sail weight with everyday durability. Lower mass improves inflation, handling precision, and collapse behavior while maintaining long-term robustness.

THE PILOT
The Delta is designed for intermediate to advanced level pilots and is the ideal stepping stone into 2 line technology. Suitable for those moving up from a high-B glider and for the more experienced pilots wanting 2-liner control and performance in a lower aspect package for unparalleled ease of use.

THE TECH
The Delta is our lowest aspect ratio 2-liner wing. Derived from the Photon and developed using all of the knowledge gained from years of competition experience and 2 line technical know how, the Delta is a solid compact platform ideal for XC flying in the most demanding conditions. The 2-line design allows for direct angle of attack control and reduced line drag for exceptional good levels of performance and ease of use never seen before in such a low aspect ratio concept. Compared to its predecessor, inflation, performance, accelerated control and general ease of use has been improved with absolutely no compromise to our True Performance promise.

The new inner structure architecture is optimized for structural integrity and low canopy weight, the wing absorbs turbulence without losing span cohesion so the wing remains compact even in the strongest air which is a very desirable characteristic for responsive handling on the strongest of conditions.

CERTIFICATION
The Delta 5 is certified EN-C with folding lines.

IN FLIGHT
The new Delta retains the ease of use and True Performance characteristics of its predecessor.

The 2 line architecture has allowed for an easier inflation process in all conditions, the wing tips are less likely to rise first. It does not overshoot in strong winds, rises fast and easy in nil-wind, and is generally more forgiving than any of our other 2 line designs.

The Delta offers a precise brake input response with high levels of roll and yaw authority, the direct feel is achieved whilst retaining an overall long brake travel that accepts deep inputs whether instantly changing the roll/yaw response in the thermal or for slowing the wing when performing challenging landing approaches.

Big ears can be performed with either the AR3 or BR3 technique. The AR3 requires a firm pull to initiate – we did not want to compromise the wing tip solidity in normal flying – but once in remains stable throughout the speed range. Big ears with BR3 are less effective but easier to initiate and faster to recover.

The Delta features new risers with adjustable B-handle heights, enhancing ergonomic control to accommodate pilots of all shapes and sizes.

New Features
The Alpina 4 GT is the Alpina 4 but features Ozone’s new colour scheme and a more robust top surface cloth. Dominico 20D32 replaces the mix of Dominico 20D and Skytex 27 for improved durability and robustness which makes it more suitable for rough terrain, with a minimal impact on canopy weight.

The Pilot
The Alpina 4 GT is for intermediate to advanced pilots who fly 70-100 hours per year and have SIV experience. Due to its ease of use and high level of passive safety, it is also suitable for pilots moving up from the category below. Pilots who loved their Alpina 4 and Delta 4 and are happy to continue their experience with a similar technology and overall behaviour will immediately be at home with the Alpina 4 GT.

The Tech
Intuitive and efficient Angle of Attack control, a proven airfoil design, and optimised internal structure make the Alpina 4 GT an XC glide machine. The super strong structure reduces aerodynamic losses, even in aggressive turbulence the profile remains strong, retaining its shape and efficiency without performance loss from chordwise deformation.

The Ozone Active Control Risers, allow full AoA control throughout the speed range without deforming the camber of the profile. The ACR system acts on B & C lines giving close-to-2-liner control with the reassurance of a 3-liner design.

Certification
The Alpina 4 GT is certified EN-C in all sizes.

In Flight
The Alpina 4 GT is up to 900g lighter than the Delta 5. The reduction in sail weight delivers the handling and performance benefits that come with lower inertia — crisper and more agile feel, more sensitivity in the climb and better collapse behavior. The reduced weight also makes it nicer to carry.

The Alpina 4 GT retains the low sink rate of the Alpina/Delta 4 for very good thermalling efficiency and cuts through the air gaining altitude in the gusts much like a competition wing. The glide performance throughout the speed-range is the best that can be expected in the category.

The forgiving collapse behavior is thanks to a relatively low aspect ratio, complex internal structure and line architecture and by optimized wing twist. The Alpina 4 GT has a well proven track record as a safe forgiving wing with little tendency to shoot or rotate after side collapse and good frontal behavior.

Thanks to the Ozone Shark Nose profile, the wing is resistant to spin and stall, and can be flown safely at low speed making top landings, or landings in tight spots, simple for a wing of this class.

The brakes are linear — precise in the first part of the range and effective in the second. It is easy to adjust the angle of bank and to place the wing exactly where you want in the core. Strong chord structure and high sail cohesion make for highly coordinated roll/yaw and an agile, exciting feel.

The GT Range
GT stands for Gran Turismo or Grand Tourer, and is our semi-light glider range, providing the in-flight benefits of a lower canopy weight and the robustness close to a standard weight wing with better longevity than dedicated light wings. The GT range is an expression of our true-performance promise; light, agile and safe with class leading performance in the most demanding conditions.

LAUNCH, LANDING & FLIGHT

Launches and landings are particularly easy. Excellent roll stability, a pitch-stable profile, and rapid inflation characteristics mean that the Moxie Power launches easily even with minimum riser input. Due to a generous and responsive brake range, landings are highly forgiving even in instances of late-stage asymmetric brake input. The wing is highly stable in pitch and roll, which provides all phases of flight from launch to flare with a high degree of passive safety and comfort. The flight segment can only be described as reassuring, with enough responsiveness in the brake range to make the wing enjoyable to fly while providing peace of mind.

This is a highly dependable tool for instructors and can form the backbone of any school’s fleet whilst also meeting the demands of the newly qualified pilot. No other wing is so easy and also so capable.

FULL OF TECH

The Moxie Power contains an amount of technological features that may surprise you given the class and the cost of the wing.

Winglets – win-win feature, adding significant improvement to spiral and roll stability at no cost in performance – increasing both safety and handling, with no downsides.

Carefully engineered cell openings have eliminated any form of vibration or flutter that are frequently an issue in entry level wings.

Double transversal shaping tech from our competition wing series provides a perfectly wrinkle free leading edge, maximizing the glide performance available in this aspect ratio and profile.

An optimized line plan has reduced line drag by 18% compared to previous designs in this class of wing.

The Moxie-specific profile has been selected for the easiest possible inflation & ground handling characteristics, and passive safety, while maintaining excellent performance for the class. This all new profile has significantly reduced thickness which reduces the volume of air, which in turn makes inflation and launch much easier.

POWER RISERS

The Moxie Power risers feature a smooth trim system and a foot operated accelerator system to reach top speeds. The risers also feature adjustable brake pulleys so the height can be set to make it compatible with any type of power unit.

An ultralight evolution of the Rapido series for experienced speed pilots.

The new Rapido 3X (R3X) is an uncompromising speedwing created for intermediate-to-advanced level pilots seeking high performance and low pack-weight. It is an evolution of the Rapido 3, with increased roll sensitivity, reduced weight, and more precise riser controls. The significantly shorter line length and wider piloting stance serve speedriders as well as foot-launch pilots seeking a more capable wing for both summer and winter flying.

The post Ozone Rapido 3x appeared first on Red Tail Paragliding.

The R3X combines ultralight Skytex 27g fabric with lightweight risers and soft-link attachments to maximize glider sensitivity and reduce sail inertia. New toggles with optional ball-grabs improve comfort and brake precision, and a redesigned B/C bridge provides frictionless trim manipulation and enhanced riser-piloting accuracy.

Hike & Fly
The R3X is noticeably lighter, with a lower pack volume for long ascents. No-wind inflations are immediate and simple, and widened pulley attachments allow a more natural running stance when navigating technical launches.

On Snow
The R3X’s significantly shortened line-set facilitates sharp, precise speedriding turns and the reduced sail inertia makes for a more responsive canopy. These improvements have led to the best connection between wing and skis that we have ever experienced. The wide piloting stance is ideal for active skiing, and the addition of ball-grabs to the redesigned toggles allow for comfortable piloting, even in winter gloves.

The Pilot
The R3X is recommended for pilots with intermediate-to-advanced-level prior Speedflying experience. Its weight-shift sensitivity, light risers & sail, and accelerated inflation characteristics are all designed with experienced speedflyers in mind. Speedriders should consider the R3X after a minimum of 2 seasons of experience. The R3X provides optimal ski-performance with trims released by ⅓ or more, so pilots should be comfortable maintaining snow contact at higher speeds prior to speedriding this sensitive wing.

It is available in five sizes: 5.9m / 6.5m / 8m / 9m & 11m
