Hike & Fly
Ultralight and compact, the Kode 2 P is ready to launch and land from any terrain. It is the perfect wing to instill confidence on all your hike & fly adventures.

Leisure
The great versatility of the Kode 2 P enables to all kinds of adventures, always offering comfortable, accessible and controlled handling.

Hike & Fly Fun
The small sizes 12–14, as well as the intermediate sizes 16–18 when flown near their maximum wing loading, are intended for experienced pilots with active flying skills. The wing’s behavior varies according to weight, becoming much more reactive and dynamic.

Each size, a different experience
The Kode 2 P is a highly versatile wing, whose handling changes depending on size and wing loading. Sizes 22, 24, and 26 are easy, pleasant, and docile; whereas sizes 16, 18, and 20 have a more dynamic and responsive character, especially when flown near the upper end of their weight range. The smallest sizes (12 and 14), which are mini-wings, are more agile and playful, with greater sensitivity to pilot inputs and weight shift.

It is a very stable wing in any size, especially well controlled in roll, thanks to the optimized arc.

Even lighter
The under-surface is made with the new ultralight and durable N10 22 g fabric, reducing the total weight of the wing and making it more compact.

Now, all sizes share the same risers – lighter yet just as easy to handle – which further reduces weight without compromising functionality.

More precise braking
The brake has been optimized to provide clearer, more progressive feedback, especially at lower speeds. It is easier to feel when the wing is approaching the stall point, allowing the pilot to anticipate and maintain control without causing an unintentional stall.

Handling remains accessible and intuitive, even in turbulent conditions. Transitions are smooth, turns are pleasant and climbing in thermals is efficient.

Easy launches and landings
Inflation is smooth and progressive, even in zero wind. Compared to the previous model, the wing rises even more easily, allowing for quick take offs.

During landing, the final flight phase is straightforward and controlled, thanks to the brake precision. Land confidently in tight or technical spots without difficulty.

An ultralight evolution of the Rapido series for experienced speed pilots.

The new Rapido 3X (R3X) is an uncompromising speedwing created for intermediate-to-advanced level pilots seeking high performance and low pack-weight. It is an evolution of the Rapido 3, with increased roll sensitivity, reduced weight, and more precise riser controls. The significantly shorter line length and wider piloting stance serve speedriders as well as foot-launch pilots seeking a more capable wing for both summer and winter flying.

The post Ozone Rapido 3x appeared first on Red Tail Paragliding.

The R3X combines ultralight Skytex 27g fabric with lightweight risers and soft-link attachments to maximize glider sensitivity and reduce sail inertia. New toggles with optional ball-grabs improve comfort and brake precision, and a redesigned B/C bridge provides frictionless trim manipulation and enhanced riser-piloting accuracy.

Hike & Fly
The R3X is noticeably lighter, with a lower pack volume for long ascents. No-wind inflations are immediate and simple, and widened pulley attachments allow a more natural running stance when navigating technical launches.

On Snow
The R3X’s significantly shortened line-set facilitates sharp, precise speedriding turns and the reduced sail inertia makes for a more responsive canopy. These improvements have led to the best connection between wing and skis that we have ever experienced. The wide piloting stance is ideal for active skiing, and the addition of ball-grabs to the redesigned toggles allow for comfortable piloting, even in winter gloves.

The Pilot
The R3X is recommended for pilots with intermediate-to-advanced-level prior Speedflying experience. Its weight-shift sensitivity, light risers & sail, and accelerated inflation characteristics are all designed with experienced speedflyers in mind. Speedriders should consider the R3X after a minimum of 2 seasons of experience. The R3X provides optimal ski-performance with trims released by ⅓ or more, so pilots should be comfortable maintaining snow contact at higher speeds prior to speedriding this sensitive wing.

It is available in five sizes: 5.9m / 6.5m / 8m / 9m & 11m

Speed flying
The Roller 2 is a mini wing with a very extensive speed range. Specially designed for speed flying, it is stable, light, maneuverable and can be flown quickly and precisely at all times.

Agile and easy to fly
Due to its weight (3 kg in size 14) and its reduced aspect ratio, the Roller 2 is a very agile and energetic glider. With dynamic handling and responsive maneuverability, total control is assured. It is fast and safe in turns.

Excellent performance
A wide speed range, thanks to the efficiency of the speed-bar and trimmers. High performance profile with little drag, so no speed restrictions. It remains solid at all times, especially at high speeds.

Safe maneuvers
With total passive safety, the Roller 2 is very stable. Some of its technical specifications, such as the aspect ratio and number of cells, are based on its predecessor. Excellent performance thanks to little inertia and drag, with smoother and more precise reactions to inputs.

Stable and responsive
Reaction and precision in lateral turns, with a feeling of total control in the turn. Excellent stability over the entire speed range. Direct, precise and intuitive handling in flight: easy to predict and control.

Nitinol rods in the profile
The incorporation of Nitinol (TNT Tech) rods in the profile allows the wing to retain its shape without imperfections. The shape memory and the high elasticity of the material are used to ensure that the wing does not deform under any circumstances.

Inflation & Launch

The Arc launches rapidly. It has the predictable and dependable launch behavior that is critical for dropping into steep big mountain lines. It inflates quickly even from a compressed layout.

On Snow

The Arc’s brake range is very long, longer than almost any speed wing we have flown. Its deep brake behavior allows you to make powerful inputs without stalling or over-controlling the wing. This same characteristic makes rapid disconnects and re-landings easy on steep lines, and enables freestyle maneuvers such as riding switch and taking grabs accessible earlier in a pilot’s skill-progression.

Trim Range & Glide

The Arc has the longest trim-range of any of Ozone Speedwing. With trims fully released, its glide is very steep. Because the trim range is so extensive, it ships with the final 3cm of trim-range stitched closed. It is up to the pilot to cut the stitching to access the full trim range. With trims pulled in, the Arc’s max glide is impressive for a ski-specific wing – it is comparable to the Dragonfly series.

Foot-launch Flights

Although designed with the Speedrider in mind, the Arc’s significant trims-in launch capability make it a fun, safe, and stable wing for foot-launched speed flying. Many pilots prefer the feel of both the lighter weight fabric and risers, as well as the shorter line-lengths for intermediate-to-advanced level classic speedflying.

Materials & Design

A lighter system means lower sail inertia which means better behavior when navigating technical terrain at low speed with the wing unloaded due to the pilot riding on the surface. Light risers and fabric help the canopy to remain overhead at low airspeeds. Sheathed lines provide durability and a new neoprene brake-handle design is optimized for gloves, with classic snaps rather than magnets.

The Pilot

The Arc serves a broad range of beginner to advanced speedriding pilots who want a wing capable of true speed riding. It is recommended for those with prior piloting paragliding or speed riding experience. It is available in three sizes: 12m / 10m / 8m

Maximum Stability & Fun

The DragonFly is a stable and versatile hybrid speed wing, designed for pilots of all skill levels. It is the perfect wing to launch your speed flying career, and is equally at home soaring a dynamic coastal cliff or carving a mountain descent.

Building on the legacy of the Firefly series, the DragonFly is founded on a simple principle: Maximum stability, with great efficiency for its class. A totally new profile has yielded improvements throughout.

The Launch
The DragonFly launch is light and immediate in no wind conditions, and forgiving in high wind. Thanks to re-positioned cell openings and the new profile, it is even better suited to speed flying instruction and beginner use.

Handling
More dynamic, yet roll stable and forgiving, it has a direct and predictable feel in the brakes. The roll rate feels responsive, but is never surprising. The DragonFly’s high level of passive safety is not only found in collapse resistance, but also in the fun yet forgiving handling.

Glide Performance & Trim Range
Thanks to an increased trim range, the DragonFly’s glide performance is greater than the FireFly, and it also has a higher top speed. It all adds up to the ability to fly in a wider range of conditions and sites! Reach more distant LZs, and fly in more wind, comfortably.

The Pilot
This is a wing for pilots of all skill levels who want a solid, stable, all around wing – the DragonFly is a reliable partner for your first speed flights and for larger pilots. Available in two sizes, 16m and 18m, the weight range goes up to 120 kg.

LAUNCH

Whether you’re setting up for a technical alpine launch, a windy dune, or a nil-wind descent, the Litespeed’s easy inflation and intuitive ground-handling characteristics keep things simple, and make for graceful transitions into flight.

IN FLIGHT

The 15m to 19m size range allows you to choose the character and performance you desire based on your personal wing-loading**. Paraglider pilots of beginner-intermediate skill and higher will enjoy LiteSpeed 3’s dynamic handling and stability, while experienced Mini-Wing and Speedwing pilots will discover an amazing new platform for even complex maneuvers.

CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN

Made with a combination of the well-proven Porcher Skytex 27gr and Dominco N20D sail cloths, the durability of this wing is exceptional for such a light-weight glider. It is equipped with trimmers and a speed system that can be used individually or together, and is also available with (optional) ultralight risers and brake toggles. Like our competition-dominating performance paragliders, the LiteSpeed 3’s design is solid and usable, delivering “True Performance” in accelerated flight.

*The LiteSpeed 3’s design is based on Ozone’s popular Zero 3.
**Please note that we do not recommend flying any highly-loaded wing in accelerated configurations in turbulent or strong conditions, especially when near to the ground.

The Rapido 3 is a turbocharged evolution of the Rapi-Dos. It delivers significantly improved speed and power with the same stability and comfort as its predecessor. It is designed specifically for performance pilots who need the ultimate in speed and swoop performance.

VERSATILITY
Overall, the R3 has the widest glide range of any wing we’ve tried, with the easiest launch and most stable feeling in the advanced category — by a lot! It is faster at all parts of the trim range: Trimmed flat, glide performance is measurably improved. Trimmed steep, it dives and carves even harder than the Rapi-Dos. You can choose unsheathed (Edelrid 8000U) or sheathed (Liros DSL) line options at the time of order.

THE TECH
The Rapido 3 evolution is focused on drag reduction and efficiency increases, yielding increased speed and glide. A new line set and fine-tuned sail tension have effectively increased the glide range while still allowing high stability at low angles of attack.

LIGHT & DURABLE
Newly engineered laser-cut crossports have reduced weight via the removal of material, without compromising the wing’s overall durability. The lighter sail means lower sail inertia and better agility. Durable main surface material ensures longevity — the Rapido 3 will last for many years of normal use. What that means to you is even easier launches, more agile barrel rolls, faster diving carves, and higher resale value.

THE PILOT
The Rapido 3 is designed for speed riding pilots who already have at least one full season flying a highly loaded intermediate wing, such as the Fazer series. The Rapido 3’s speed, dynamic handling, and swoop capability allows pilots to progress to the highest levels of the sport.

WINGLOADING
A range of sizes from 6m to 15m are available. The 6m size is only for expert pilots with previous Rapido series experience. Sizes 8 through 13 should be chosen based on wingloading and experience, with the 15m size being accessible to the widest range of skill levels.

The ZERO series has always been about fun and dynamic mini-wing handling, with efficiency that allows a wide range of sites and conditions. The long-awaited Zero 3 is a ground-up redesign, and brings a new level of ease of use to the series while retaining all of the fun and efficiency that has made its predecessors so loved.

LAUNCH
The first and most important aspect that we improved on is the launch characteristics. The Zero 3 inflates and rises fully overhead in any condition, with no tendency to overshoot in high winds.

IN FLIGHT
Choose your size of Zero 3 to choose your level of dynamic flight. With sizes ranging from 13m to 19m, there is something for everyone and every size of pilot.

THE PILOT
The ZERO 3 is designed for paraglider pilots of beginner-intermediate skill and higher. More experienced pilots who wish to fly at higher wing-loadings will enjoy dynamic handling and great stability.

THE TECH
The Zero 3 trimmer and a speed system allows a smooth acceleration with profile preservation for a solid feel at all angles of attack. The speed range is wide, and easily usable. A new profile and leading edge design adapted from our higher performance range has improved solidity and pitch stability in active air.

VERSATILITY
Fly anywhere! From low coastal dune soaring in high winds to high alpine sled rides, the Zero 3’s ease of use and wide performance range has you covered. This is truly a versatile tool that we think no pilot should be without!
