Accessing the Schedule

The Teamup calendar can be accessed directly via the Teamup Website as well as the Teamup App.

How to Sign Up

  • Click on any training block you'd like to join.
  • Click "signup" then fill in your name. No email address required.
  • The sign up deadline is at 8:00 pm the evening prior to the next day's lesson.

Our goal is to offer our students as much flexibility with scheduling lessons as possible. We just ask that students offer as much consistency and dependability with scheduling as possible.

How to Cancel

  • Repeat the sign up process, but write "cancel" with your name.
  • If you have to cancel a lesson after the 8:00 pm sign up deadline has passed, please write a note in the Telegram chat.

Please avoid lots of last minute cancellations, it make it difficult for us to plan our instructor schedule. 

Weather Cancellations

Lesson cancellations due to bad weather are always announced in the group’s Telegram chat. We try to give as much warning as possible, however weather forecasts can change up until the night before a lesson so we can’t always give much of a heads up. Every now and then, we have to show up to find out how appropriate the conditions are for training. Students are always welcome to cancel if the uncertainty isn’t worth a long commute. Paragliding is all about being available when the weather is good. When the weather is questionable, it’s better to focus on the other important things in our lives.

Scheduling Guidelines

The school has limited training equipment and we want to be sure that students are all getting the attention they need during their course. For that reason, we need to make sure we’ve got enough gear and instructors available for each lesson. We can only do that if we have a reliable sense for how many students will show up for any given lesson. Please be sure to sign up for the lesson days that have been agreed upon beforehand. If you have the chance to join for extra lessons, go ahead and sign up and we’ll let you know if there’s any issue. If you’re signed up for weekday lessons but want to join for weekend lessons as well, check with us before signing up.
